The new 290 XF from Albemarle offers hardcore fishing amenities built around a hull with prop pockets for reduced draft and was designed to be a modern, upgraded and roomier version of the company’s very successful 280 XF. The molded fiberglass self-draining cockpit measures 62 square feet and features a 43-gallon in-deck fish box and a 49-gallon transom fish box, 21-gallon livewell, bait/tackle prep station, cockpit lights, four flush mount rod holders and fresh and salt water washdown. The helm deck has helm and companion seats, two additional forward facing seats and a Palm Beach helm pod plus a large dash designed for a modern electronics suite. Below deck the cabin offers a galley with solid surface countertops, sink, microwave, refrigerator and additional storage in a hanging locker. The dinette forward has seating on V-bunks with storage below while pullman berths overhead offer additional sleeping accommodations. An enclosed head offers a stand-up shower with sink and vanity.
Other standard features include an anodized aluminum bow rail, bow pulpit, hydraulic trim-tabs, powder coated aluminum windshield and four-blade nibral props. DAVIS 70
The Davis 70 Sportfisherman is the new flagship from E. H. Yachts and features a roomy salon with generous seating, custom teak cocktail table, built-in wet bar and ice maker, wine captain, stereo sound system with flat-screen television and DVD player. The fly bridge offers a centerline helm with Palm Beach pod, single lever controls, multiple helm chairs and seating forward with storage below. A teak floored, air-conditioned enclosed bridge model is also available. EVERGLADES 350LX
Everglades Boats new 350LX features a cuddy cabin design built around the hull of their popular 350CC and combines a functional fishing vessel that doubles as a comfortable weekend cruiser. The air-conditioned cabin offers a diagonal double berth forward and second double berth aft under the helm deck. A lounge seat provides additional seating to view the swivel-mounted flat screen TV/DVD player. Additional cabin features include a full galley with refrigerator, stainless steel microwave, built-in coffee maker, stainless steel sink and granite counter tops. An enclosed head has sink, shower and storage area. Storage space abounds under the forward bunk, counters and numerous out-of-the-way places.
The air conditioned helm deck offers a large helm with lots of room to flush mount all the electronics needed. F & S 45 WALK AROUND EXPRESS
With the introduction of their Walk Around Express, F & S Boatworks has produced what could arguably be the largest walkaround offshore sportfisherman on the market. Built on their successful Variable Deadrise, Longitudinally Stepped Vee hull design, this boat features the 360-degree mobility of a center console with the amenities of an express boat. The teak helm deck has helm and companion seats and a centerline helm with teak Palm Beach pod and single lever controls plus a roomy electronics console and overhead electronics box and recessed teaser reels. An L-shaped lounge forward of the helm has a freezer plus additional storage below and an additional seat is starboard of the helm.
The entire 360-degree deck area has a teak sole and the cockpit offers hidden gaff storage, teak coverboards and coaming plus two aft facing jump seats.
