CONTENDER 30ST

Contender’s new 30ST not only features their innovative dual-step hull design that provides dramatic performance increases not only in speed, fuel efficiency and handling, but also offers everything an angler dreams of with its one-level deck, massive fish and storage boxes, and incomparable ride. The standard console features a walk-in forward entrance and is fully lined and finished and has a head compartment. There’s also a lockable bi-fold electronics panel at the helm and additional lockable storage in the console plus integrated upright rod holders on either side of the console outside. Two forward under-deck rod lockers are also provided. Other cockpit and deck features include 130-gallon and 70-gallon insulated fish boxes forward plus two 55-gallon insulated fish boxes to port and starboard aft. The transom has a walk-through transom door plus two 40-gallon livewells. Additional features of the 30ST include a larger side-entry console option with electric freshwater head and shower, flush-panel electronics with plenty of space to handle two large LCD screens, a forward bench seat with insulated storage, and a helm pod finish out the console. With standard fuel capacity of 265 gallons, range well in excess of 400 miles depending on conditions and driving style can be expected. When compared to its sister model, the 30T, the 30ST is estimated to see an 18 percent increase in operating efficiencies and a 10 percent increase in overall performance thanks to the innovative stepped hull design. As with all other Contenders, each 30ST is built to order with many other custom options. Contact: Contender 800-645-2906 or on the web at www.contenderoffshore.com.

JUPITER 41

Jupiter Marine's new flagship is a 41-footer with triple outboard power and big-boat amenities and is available in an Express or Sport Bridge layout built around the legendary hull designed by renowned naval architect Donald Blount. Big boat features include plenty of range thanks to 480 gallons of fuel and a standard 8-kilowatt diesel generator with a dedicated 45-gallon fuel tank. And there’s even room below decks for an optional Seakeeper gyrostabilizer. The large cockpit provides standard mezzanine seating and if desired this area can be configured as a full-height bait-prep/tackle center in lieu of the recessed seating. Other standard fishing amenities include two 90-gallon, macerator-equipped fish boxes, a 60-gallon livewell, six rod holders, transom door and gate, and two under-gunnel rod racks. Some options offered include outriggers, hardtop with spreader lights and LED courtesy lights, aquarium window on the livewell, dual livewells, extra rod holders and a marlin tower. The Sport Bridge option offers a fully-enclosed hardtop with three windows, with the forward-facing window a giant sheet of glass. This setup optimizes functionality and provides the helmsman with true 360-degree visibility. For those owners who desire the Express Edition, EZ2CY enclosure options are available with three or four sides. With either model, below deck there’s sleeping accommodations for five-plus guests and crew in two cabins, plus an extra berth courtesy of the dropdown table in the port-side dinette. Personalize the interior by customizing everything from the wood to the fixtures and faucets in the galley and heads. Galley features include a two-burner electric cooktop, microwave oven and double-drawer refrigerator and freezer. Contact: Jupiter Marine at 941-729-5000 or on the web at www.jupitermarine.com.
